BACKGROUND

Kit Wang CHOI, a graduate from the Hong Kong University, Registered Architect and Authorized Person with over 10 years of professional experience, had involved in numerous institutional projects including the award-winning heritage revitalization project of Green Hub and PMQ collaborating with Benjamin and the French International School Tseung Kwan O campus collaborating with Henning Larsen Architects.

Besides, pursuing his passion for architectural discourse, Choi co-founded HOUR25 to extend his vision through participation of both local and international exhibitions, including Venice Architecture Biennale (2012), HKIA Exhibitions at ArtisTree (2013/2016), etc. Choi’s creative team were also commissioned for a number of small-scaled pavilions: UAL Global Pavilion for British Council’s SPARK Festival at Tai Kwun (2019) and Open Stage Pavilion for MaDAsia at West Kowloon Cultural District (2016), etc.

Choi has also received recognitions for numerous design competitions including First Prize in Professional Category for Open International Ideas Competition for Noise Barrier / Enclosure Design (2009), Winning Entry for RIBA SHOP! Installation Competition (2014), Winning Entry for Call for Noise Mitigation/Retaining Structure Design for Tsuen Wan Bypass (2014), Commendation Entry in Professional Group for Design Idea Competition for Wan Chai Community Green Station (2018) and Commendation Entry in Design Competition for Hong Kong Observatory Tide Gauge Station at Tai Po Kau (2020).
