Graduated from the University of Hong Kong with Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) and Master of Architecture with the honor of HKIA Student Medal, BENJAMIN is Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Registered Architect and Authorized Person (List of Architect) in Hong Kong.
Benjamin has over twenty years of professional experience on a wide spectrum of projects for public and private sectors, including heritage revitalization, educational, aged care, religious as well as residential and commercial projects, from the inception, design, documentation to construction stages. Benjamin is now overseeing MATTER’s architectural projects for institutional, residential and hospitality uses. Benjamin’s passion in quality design and professional contribution to the industry had earned him the annual HKIA Young Architect Award in 2011.
Apart from his professional practice, Benjamin has also shown his enthusiasm towards architecture, art and design through his active participation in various professional activities, architectural education and competition. Benjamin is currently member of the Board of Practice, Professional Assessment Committee and Panel on Building Design and Site Design for the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Architects Registration Board. He is also Part-time Lecturer on Architectural Design at the Hong Kong Design Institute and has been invited as guest critic and speaker at different institutes.
